Capturing the creativity and professionalism of students through photography and video for promotional purposes.
Context
As part of a subcontracting mission for 85 Saison, I supported the Next-U Education Group by covering their Ethical Fashion Show organised by the N3 class.
The goal was to capture the event through photos and videos that could later be used as promotional content for the following year.
The project required both agility and creativity, since the event space was not ideally suited for high-quality visuals.

interviews with participants,
editing of video content and retouching of photos

Overview
Produce a strong set of visual assets showcasing the students’ ability to design and deliver a professional fashion event, while also generating communication materials for Next-U’s upcoming promotions.
Challenge
The main challenge was to adapt to the venue’s limitations (poor lighting, unsuitable environment) and to operate with very little prior information about the event structure. The risk was missing key moments or delivering visuals below the desired quality.

Solution
To ensure high-quality output, I worked with a second assistant for coverage, multiplying camera angles and capturing both backstage and runway moments. Special attention was given to interviews, highlighting the students’ vision and the ethical values behind the show.
- Showcase students’ creativity and professionalism
- Highlight the ethical dimension of the event
- Deliver versatile content suitable for social media, web, and internal communication
Results
The project delivered a comprehensive set of professional visuals, giving Next-U valuable assets to capitalise on their event. The photos and videos enhanced the perception of the school’s ability to foster creativity and sustainable thinking in fashion.
