Professional product photography and creative retouching to enhance a Korean beauty brand’s online presence.
Context
As a subcontractor for 85 Saison, I collaborated with the Artistic Director of Snowflower, a boutique specialising in Korean beauty products. The mission was to update their website visuals through a dedicated product photoshoot.
The challenge was to deliver high‑quality visuals with limited studio resources, while respecting the client’s request for a professional and almost clinical look on a white background.

Overview
Provide Snowflower with professional and consistent product imagery that reflects the premium quality of Korean beauty products, ensuring a clean and appealing presence on their digital storefront.
Challenge
We needed to innovate within a very rigid creative framework: minimal props, no large studio, and a strict white‑background requirement. The risk was to produce visuals that felt sterile or redundant across product pages.

Solution
To overcome these limitations, we explored a variety of angles, lighting setups, and editing techniques to inject subtle emotion and differentiation while keeping the overall tone professional. The process included mentorship from Betty Michel, Communication Consultant at 85 Saison, ensuring creative alignment.
- Maintain clinical precision with a clean white background
- Use light and angles creatively to add depth and emotion
- Leverage AI tools to test and extend visual possibilities
Results
The photoshoot delivered sharper, more professional product visuals that elevated Snowflower’s online presence. The imagery is now cleaner, more attractive, and better aligned with the brand’s positioning.
