MyDigitalSchool Lille — Meet the Team Series

A fun yet professional video series introducing the Lille campus staff to boost engagement and familiarity with students.

Context

As part of my work-study placement at MyDigitalSchool, I developed the idea for a mini video series titled Meet the Team. The goal was to introduce the Lille campus teaching staff to students, giving them a face and a voice before the start of the academic year.

The concept balanced a warm, accessible tone with professionalism to ensure the staff’s authority was preserved while fostering student connection.

Overview

Design and produce a video format that highlights the staff’s personalities and roles in a light yet professional way, to increase visibility and engagement for MyDigitalSchool on social media.

Challenge

The main challenge was logistical: coordinating interview slots with each staff member and resetting the shooting space each time due to high foot traffic in the chosen location. Additionally, the broader challenge was to make MyDigitalSchool more visible and relatable to current and prospective students.

Solution

The series was designed from a student’s perspective: “What would I want to know about my teaching staff before starting the year?”

I adopted a dynamic editing style, refining the format progressively as new episodes were released. This iterative approach improved pacing and engagement with each video.
